My love for writing began in the fifth grade. I loved the fifteen minutes after lunch we spent writing. I struggled with friends and so my Grandmother became my friend. She was busy sometimes and couldn't always talk to me so she gave me a new package of brightly colored markers and a notebook. I created a world my own world. I soon made 32 new friends! Each markers had a gender, a name, and their personal stories. My love for story grew as I devoured the "Anne of Green Gables" series by L.M. Montgomery and J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings." I currently am a contributor to regional magazines, including Nugent Magazine in the Intermountain West. I am currently working on a series of books based on the lives of my great great grandparents in the American West and Chihuahua, Mexico. Their faith and dedication to each other are inspiring. I can wait to share their stories with you!
